A very interesting newly offered hybrid crossing c calceolus from across Europe and Asia with c segawai a species only found in Taiwan. This has produced a plant with relatively small flowers, often two on the stem with the deep colour bowl from the segawai and the twist in the sepals from the calceolus. This may need some protection during very cold winters because it flowers early in the season. Plants offered have three good buds or more.
