The Bumblebee orchid grows across the Mediterranean area in alkaline grassland.It flowers early in the season and has the reputation for quickly multiplying by vegetative means. Should be grown in an free alpine house in the same way as most of the southern European orchids. Dormant tubers will be sent out from early August.
